Definition
Realized Profit — total USD profit locked in by coins moving above their cost basis on the day.
Formula
realized_profit = Σ max(realized_value_usd − cost_basis_usd, 0)How we compute it
Summed per-spend, using the positive-only profit component (preferred input `realized_profit_usd_pos`). Summing the per-spend positive part — rather than clipping a net total — avoids understating both profit and loss.
Interpretation
High realized profit clusters near local tops as holders cash out into strength.
