About the chart lab
The lab is the place to chart any Bitcoin on-chain metric in the catalogue against the full price history. Choose a metric, overlay the Bitcoin price, switch to a logarithmic scale for long histories, and toggle the historical signal zones that mark where a metric has traditionally read as overheated or depressed.
Every series comes from our own full-archive Bitcoin node and the same published daily dataset used everywhere else on the site, so what you chart here matches the metric pages and their free data downloads. The information panel gives each metric's definition, and the metric pages go further with the current reading, historical extremes and method.
Some panels in the lab are clearly labelled as illustrative while they are being built: the conditioned overlay and the sample backtest table are demonstrations, not results. The chart and the run output use real data. We mark the difference explicitly so you never have to guess which numbers to trust. Good starting points are MVRV, SOPR, realized cap, long-term holder share and the Puell Multiple.
